In what context do you think or talk about God in your daily life? Do you make every conversation that you have about God.
Why not if you don’t. Why if you do? Most importantly do you need to talk about God all the time?
Well of course I do, He is the biggest part of my life, and I am happy and thankful for that.( I will let you in on something..You know we do have lives, family, friends, and believe it or not, we even laugh and have fun.) Life is good in the Lord, try it , you might like it:)
Blessed Be The Name of The Lord
No we don’t need to talk about God all the time, their is a time and place for everything, and this site is definitely the place for it. What else do you suggest we talk about on a religious site, except religion? certainly not football, recipes, PTA, etc. I wonder do atheist go around asking christians dumb questions all day long in their regular life, di they build their everyday life around insults and hate speech directed at us? I sure hope they have more of a life than that.
There are times when it is appropriate to talk about spiritual things and then there are times when it is not the right setting or situation to do so. I run a business and live in a small community and most people know that I am a Christian. I also know pretty much the ones who are saved and the ones who aren’t. I have had unsaved people actually ask me to pray for this one or that one saying if you honestly think there is a God; please pray for so and so; they sure need it. Some people are just not open to any discussion about God and I know that and leave them alone. I would like to add that I don’t know anyone in real life who displays the hostility I sometimes see on this site toward believers. Maybe they feel it but they don’t show it, at least not to me. Because people can remain anonymous; it seems to remove restraints and people say outlandish things. (trolls)
Cause I’m not perfect. I never will be on this earth. I’m not sure of the specific reasons why I don’t talk about God outside of here and with other Christians. I guess I’m scared?
No, I don’t talk about God all the time. There’s a place and time for everything. I have a personal relationship with God and I pray(talk) to him when I want to give thanks or if I am needing help with something. I am open about my religion when people question me about it, or are curious to know more. I don’t usually talk about it unless the occasion calls for it.
No, not all the time. I do so when the opportunities arise. If people aren’t interested, I don’t bring up the subject. I do wish more people would experience for themselves all the good things that God wants to give them!
I don’t need to talk about God all the time but if the conversation or situation is appropriate I bring God into the conversation.
Praise Father Jehovah Hoseenu ( Psalms 95:6) The Lord our Maker, Jehovah Elohim ( Genesis 2:4-25) The Lord our Creator, Jehovah Shalom ( Judges 6:24) The Lord our Peace.
Second member of Godhead ( Acts 17:29; Romans 1:20; Colossians 2:8-10) The only way to heaven ( John 14:6; Romans 3:25; 10:9) The Lamb of God ( Isaiah 53; John 1:29&36; Revelation 7:10&14; 14:10&19; 22:1&3) The Lord Jesus Christ.
And the Holy Spirit ( Ghost) ( Genesis 1:2-27; Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Cor 13:14; Matthew 27:37-54; Mark 15; Acts 1,2,5,7,10,19, 1 John 5:5-10; Revelation 2-3).
Is there anything else to talk about?
Yes I do absolutely everywhere this servant of the Most High God, Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit goes and is.
Try Luke 9:23-27; Mark 8:34-38; Matthew 10 & 16)
23 If you are to come and follow Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow Me dailly,
24 for if you are ashamed of Me and of My words before man, I shall be ashamed, of you before My Father and His holy angels in Heaven.
26 For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and looses himself and his soul.
27 For he who looses his life for My sake shall gain it, and whosoever gains his life shall loose it.
20 But our conversation is in heaven, from whence we also look for the Savior, even the Lord Jesus Christ.
I’m human so I can talk about girls, wifes, cars, fishing, pool, drag racing, football, basketball you get the picture,
But when God, Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit has delivered you from the Pits of Hell ( Deut 32:22; Proverbs 5,7,15, Matthew 5, 10, Mark 9:42-50; Luke 16:19-31; Revelation 14, 19-21 Then wouldn’t you want to talk about Jesus Christ to everyone? And stay in constant Praise of our Savior Lord Jesus Christ, And not be ashamed, so that when you die and are actually face to face with Lord Jesus Christ in the Judgement you’ll hear well done thy good and faithful servant welcome into the Kingdom of God, Not Luke 6&13, Why you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I said do, depart from Me you workers of iniquity, for I never knew you, Into the pits of Hell ( Everlasting punishment) you’ll go.
Your choice I’ve Hallejulah Glory to God, Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit in the Highest made mine.
Great question Thanks for asking, and giving this 14 Year Minister yet another chance to Praise His Holy Name again All Smiles Hallejulah Praise Jesus Christ.
Have a Blessed one Remember repent from all sins 1 John 1:1-10; Psalms 50-53; 2 Peter 3:9; Revelation 2-3 Jesus does love us but I believe gets upset with sinners not wanting to repent and actually turn from their old sins Drunkeness, adultery, fornication, lewdness, lieing, stealing, smoking doing drugs, Homosexuality which is an abomination against God and will sent you to Hell Romans 1:20-30; 1 Kings 14; Lev 18 you get the piont.
God said be ye holy for I the Lord thy God is holy ( Hebrews 12:14; Lev 11:44; 20:8; 2`1:8; Romans 12:1-5; 6:1
1 shall we continue in sin, so that grace may abound? God forbid.
Love ya all in Lord Jesus Christ Praying to se ya in heaven the Lordsoldier
nope i try to avoid banging my faith into other’s heads. if people ask if im christian i reply yes. if they as what i do sundays, i say i play at 2 churches. if they ask what my beliefs are i share them. otherwise if they dont care to know i dont care to tell unless it is somehow relevant to the conversation/situation at hand.
simple as that. i do like being identified as a christian though, that way if someone wants to talk about my faith they can approach me. but the most blatant sign of my faith is the WWJD bracelet on my wrist and my overall demeanor, thats as ‘in your face’ as this christian gets lol. unfortunately on occasion my behavior is less than christian but i do my best to work on it and represent my fellow jesus freaks 😉
hope i gave you some insight into the life of an ignorant crazy haha
No, because real life isn’t a forum dedicated to religion and spirituality. I talk about my kids, projects at work, the weather, my dog, etc.
And lolcats. I talk alot about lolcats. However I think about God a lot. I even wonder if God likes lolcats. 🙂
