What are your favorite solo acoustic albums?

List as many as you’d like. I feel like I need more in my collection.

BQ: Favorite traditional folk song?
BQ2: Favorite modern folk artist?

Songs Of Leonard Cohen- Leonard Cohen (this might be my favorite album of all time)

The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan- Bob Dylan

Dust Bowl Ballads- Woody Guthrie

Shallow Grave- The Tallest Man On Earth

Paul Simon- Paul Simon (not completely solo but still mostly acoustic)

BQ: This Land Is Your Land

BQ2: Not quite sure what you mean by “modern”. My favorite 2000s folk artist is The Tallest Man On Earth but I like Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon and Bob Dylan more than him.

Grand Ledge by Paul Baribeau
I Ain’t Marching Anymore by Phil Ochs
Never Surrender by Evan Greer

BQ: What Are We Waiting On by Woody Guthrie or Waist Deep In the Big Muddy by Pete Seeger

BQ2: Evan Greer, he has a lot of heart and you can get most of his music for free. Him and the whole Riot Folk Collective are keeping folk a threat.

Hey Frookie Finkelstein!
These are some of my favorites..

Rosemary Lane – Bert Jansch

It Don’t Bother Me – Bert Jansch

Bert Jansch – Bert Jansch

Cabin Fever – Lenny Breau

Don’t Panic – Jon Gomm

The Complete Recordings (1913-1942)-Agustin Barrios

The Gold Collection – Robert Johnson

The Solo Sessions – Bill Evans

And Pink Moon of course is one of the greatest albums of all time so I include that one too.

BQ:Henry Martin
BQ2:I love Pokey LaFarge

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Either/Or by Elliott Smith
Bringing it all Back Home by Bob Dylan

Hi Fructose!

Sweet Baby James – both are by: James Taylor.

Folk: Don’t really know much about it; sorry.

Pink moon counts?

Joan Baez – ”Blessed Are”

BQ2- Catherine Mclellan
