Spiritually speaking, why would a christian ever complain out loud?

Since the omnipotent best friend who intervenes on their behalf hears them without speaking it makes no sense to me to hear a Christan complain. How ever they seem to do this with the same regularity as everyone else. Why do they complain? I don’t think anyone listening has any where near the power to fix…

Not all of us are Trappist monks.

A guy joins a monastery and takes a vow of silence: he’s allowed to say two words every seven years.

After the first seven years, the elders bring him in and ask for his two words. “Cold floors,” he says. They nod and send him away.

Seven more years pass. They bring him back in and ask for his two words. He clears his throats and says, “Bad food.” They nod and send him away.

Seven more years pass. They bring him in for his two words. “I quit,” he says. “That’s not surprising,” the elders say. “You’ve done nothing but complain since you got here.”

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Yes, we should pray instead of complain. All Christians are human and the human tendency is to complain. We are all a work in progress.

It’s the same paradox as the need for prayer to an omniscient god.

It’s almost as if they didn’t really think there is an omniscient god that can read their minds and do what has to be done…

we complain because we are spoiled
new
new again.
never knew the Lord
havent given everything over to the Lord, yet(new)
or we are backslidden.
that is an excellent question, thank you.

Good question. Instead of complaining, we should be down on our knees in prayer.

Because Christians are people too. We all make mistakes, and we all sin. That’s why we need God’s forgiveness which he gives to anyone who asks.

we arent perfect. we complain, screw up and we live. just because were christian doesnt mean were perfect. We have Jesus that died on the cross for us to forgive our sins.

you mean like when they say JESUS CHRIST! hahahah in a fit of anger!
then OMG when they are happy. Funny isn’t it, they will curse Jesus and then praise the Lord. HAHAHAH

I know, at least Son of Sam kept it between him and his dog.
