Well my 2010 camaro comes in on november which gives me time to save up for a exhaust. I got it a v6 because the ss insurance was so much but i really wanted that ss. Well all i could do now is buy an exhaust i now it will never ever sound like a v8 but at least close to it. Well i was thinking about flow…
These guys know nothing about Chevrolet V6 engines do they??
All except Magnaflow will sound good on it.
Chevrolet engines sound very good with loud exhaust whether it be a V6 or V8.
Personally I would get the Flowmasters they sound great and perform great.

Don’t bother. It’s still a V6 Camaro. You won’t get an improved sound, and you won’t see any performance benefits if that’s all you do. Also, an entire exhaust system for $400 wouldn’t be the one to get if you’re trying to find something good. I’m not sure that even exists, but it won’t be of very high quality if it does.
I have a 2012 Convertable Camaro V6. No harsh comments please i LOVE my car. I have been looking for months at mufflers, ect. I cant decide for the life me decide what is and sounds best. I know you are all going to say trade it for a V8, i dont want to trade it i just wanted something to sound a little deeper. I am getting so many different opinions. Is there something simple to do?
Flowmasters don’t flow or peform the best. Known fact. However since it’s a v6 stang, just get one or a mangaflow. No need for a Borla. Drive it proud that your v6 camaro is capable of destroying v6 mustangs.
Besides the point of the increased price more than offsetting the fuel cost, it should be noted that the V6 is no penalty box. With over 300hp, it has more power than most V8 “real” muscle cars.
Go to this you tube video i have friends who want a good sounding exhaust system but just changing the pipes and mufflers wont do the truck you’ll also need some new Headders as well. Plus the bigger the engine the more powerful your car will sound, it all depends on what kind of engine you have.
I would keep it stock unless it were a v-8. If you have your heart set on doing the exhaust I would def go with a MagnaFlow, especially since anything else would simply be overkill.
